All of the Granddaughters on my husband's side of the family celebrate their birthdays within weeks of each other - so instead of driving 4+ hours every week-end to celebrate, we have one huge party for them, alternating where each year.

This year we drove their way and had the party along with Thanksgiving Supper - Nana made a 3 tier cake and all of the Grandchildren decorated it - they had a blast!

This is kind of a weird post - just lots of little things running through my head that I keep forgetting to put out there!

Do you twitter? I resisted for so long - and finally caved...and have found some awesome advantages to it! I "follow" a very small number of things - but I'm following some really fun things! The one advantage I found was following CBC news (and a couple others) - such an easy way for me to actually hear what's going on in the world - I also follow a couple of other blogs who tweet when something new is up (like competitions, etc.) That's been fun and saves me from having to use my limited computer time to check out each blog to see if it was updated.

Other than that it's just a couple of cousins who refuse to use facebook but still insist on telling the world what's going on in their lives. ;) I've found I use it from my iphone as opposed to computer - so I'm actually able to hop on to it quite a bit.

Anyway, what's my point?? Do you twitter? If you're bored and need something else to follow - come find me! http://twitter.com/seeshels it's not the most amazing read --- but I do put all of my contests and specials on there first, as well as any casting calls that come up.

I am drastically wishing and hoping for just 2 more days of nice weather - that's all I need to finish up my outdoor sessions....it's always a risk in october, and I'm just praying the weather forecast is right for this week-end!!
