Sometimes things just click into place at the exact right time! For studio work involving moving children, 99% of the time I use studio lighting, but sometimes things are just in that perfect sweetspot and I just HAVE to go to natural light ---- my creative instinct is just too strong not to. ;)

This darling little girl just put the icing on the cake - not only was the light "just" right at that moment of the day - but she did exactly as I had imagined and things just fell into place. I could just look at her all day - she's just too darn cute!

I'm s-l-o-w-l-y giving some TLC to my neglected website - as usual, once this time of year hits it gets pushed to the back burner, so I'm slowly trying to update all of the photos and galleries on it. :)

As I have done in past years, I will be foregoing the tradition paper Christmas cards and sending out an electronic version to my clients. When possible I try to reduce my paper use, and I see this as one of those ways. As with last year, I will also be making a monetary donation to the food bank in lieu of buying postage for the cards.

I hope your holiday preparations are going well - we're doing the tree thing this week-end after Grey Cup (go riders!) - we just finished the cookies, and now ---- where is the snow???
