When It Rains It Pours

The weather outside today matches my mood quite well. ;)

Last year was a pretty crazy year - my grandmother and my grandfather passed away within weeks of one another, my mother was hospitalized twice (she has Chron's Disease) and it was just all around hectic - so we all cheered that 2010 would be better.

3 weeks ago my uncle was diagnosed with cancer. Today we got the call that things do not look good. He's only 44 and has a beautiful 7 year old little girl and his wife of 3 months. My heart is breaking for them and my mom - he's the baby of the family.

July has been interesting to say the least, with construction headaches, my uncle and a few other little diddies thrown our way - sometimes it's hard to see that rainbow at the end - but I know it's there. :)

Please excuse any delays in communication over the next few weeks - we aren't sure exactly what is going on at any given day, but I will do my very best to keep things on track!
