As I've mentioned once or twice my husband enjoys cooking and does the vast majority of it in our house. One of his hobbies happens to be smoking meat - or "real BBQ" - so every year we go to Calgary for the BBQ competition.

This year they placed 4th overall (out of 26 teams!) which was awesome! They also got ribbons in Brisket and Pork Butt - so despite the COLD rain it was a huge success!

Now we're home after clearing out the malls, eating a lot of BBQ meat and hitting up the Tyrell Dinosaur Museum - ready to get everyone back into routine!
