One of the many reasons I love being a Saskatoon Photographer is using the amazing scenery found around us in this great city! One of the challenges I face is making the same location look different each and every day - not too hard to do as there are a million possibilities all around!

When I first met this family I asked (as I usually do) "is she walking?" - to which I received a mournful "no" - but it was met with my enthusiastic "YAY!" Once they're walking it's a WHOLE new ballgame - but my most favourite moments to catch are the first steps, holding on to mommy's hand, SO proud to just go - I love it!

I think I love it so much because I know that the non-walking phase lasts for such a short time - and they'll be walking forever. There's just that little window there where they WANT to hold your hand - and not let go - and I LOVE it!

I had a fabulous time with this family at the beginning of October - the weather turned great again, the light was just awesome and their darling girl is as sweet as can be! She had with her favourite little bunny which sat on top of my head too many times to count to get her great smile. ;)
