I did actually get outside a few times this year! I know this is what I'm going to miss most with being on mat leave during the summer - but I'm pretty sure the newborn snuggles will take away the sting. ;)
This family wins the trooper award - it was HOT out - like people wearing tank tops at the river hot out - and this awesome family came, ready to go for fall photos, and they looked wonderful doing it!
I had an AWESOME time with them, the girls were so happy to go along with anything, the sun was shining and life was just good!

Read more...It's very hard to believe that it's already been a year since I first met these fabulous brothers! I was absolutely thrilled when I learned I would get to photograph them again - I've never met more polite boys, they were absolutely fabulous to work with and terrific older brothers!
We had a lot of fun down by the river, the weather was spot on, not even a breeze! Thank you so much for the great evening!!
Despite the attack of a billion mosquitos, we had a lot of fun at this session - the weather was wonderful, the sun was shining and this darling little girl was just too cute!!
We sang a lot of happy birthday (a song that brought a smile to her face) and got our exercise moving all around the park - thanks for the wonderful morning out!
I lucked out a lot this year with the weather - there were very few rescheduled sessions. Dipping into October sessions always gets tricky - the snow came and put a couple of them off - this session was one of them - and we thankfully picked a day where the snow had gone - and the weather was actually quite nice!
We had to work pretty quickly - the light doesn't stay around long this time of year - but thankfully everyone was eager and willing to participate so we got a lot done in a short amount of time!
