See Shel's Photography is very excited to present the limited edition Beach Babies mini-sessions!

This quick and fun session is geared for those cute little swimmers aged 6 months up to 3 years old!  What better way to capture this fun little moment in their lives, in a cute little swimsuit or sun outfit!

These sessions are 20 minutes in length, include 8-10 unique color photos in both high resolution files AND a 4x6 print of each, for only $100 +pst!

These sessions are being held on Sunday, May 29 and Saturday July 9 -- limited space is available!

Toddlers and Tutus! ~See Shel's Photography - Saskatoon Photographer~

Oh toddlers! :)  They're so predictably unpredictable --- we had a cute fluffy pettiskirt ready to go, and a toddler who very much let us know that it would have no place in our photos! UNTIL we brought out the flower pedals, then it was game on!  She's grown a bit over the past couple of years - she's certainly the strong, silent type who seems to have many thoughts going on behind that quiet smile!! :)

Best Laid Plans

SO - my friend and I had this fabulous vision -try out a new set for next year, a fun hat, our 2 15 month old babies.... fun right?

I think we both stopped thinking the moment we added 2 15 month old babies ;)  This is THE only photo we got that didn't include tears and the hat - no one liked the hat for some reason

And even scarier is that our babies are 15 months already! How did this fly by so fast? (actually - in 3 days they will be 16 months....wow.) 'tis the season! :)

"big" brother came into my studio a few months ago - and he's walking now! But this time we had 2 little guys which makes the session a bit more fun ;)  And just sometimes you get a bit of luck where 2 little ones will be in the same place at the same time..... and with even more luck they will look at the same time ---- shooting star triple luck and they'll actually look happy at the same time ;) And then - sometimes the entire universe smiles upon us and we get a snuggle :)

1 Year Old! ~See Shel's Photography - Saskatoon Photographer~

Well, I don't know how it happened, but somehow a whole year has flown by and my baby is celebrating her first birthday today!!! (**insert mommy tears of bittersweet happiness here....along with a few hysterical ones for the inevitable "she'll be in kindergarten soon!!" freak out**) We rushed out the other night to snap a few quick photos of her -- there's always that fine line between that gorgeous warm golden light at the end of the night and the huge pre-bedtime freakout - thankfully we got the best of both worlds!

Perfect Storm ~See Shel's Photography - Saskatoon Family Photographer~

I don't know HOW he's 18 months old already! He was just starting to walk the last time I saw him ---- he's growing too fast! :)

We scheduled this session during this past really mild winter ..... then just days before the session it was COLD - I kept watching the weather, shaking my head at my bad luck --- then the day of the session the stars aligned - the weather was wonderful - light little snowflakes fell, NO wind ( a miracle in Saskatoon) and..... a co-operative toddler! Really, we couldn't ask for anything more!

Outside! ~See Shel's Photography~

I did actually get outside a few times this year! I know this is what I'm going to miss most with being on mat leave during the summer - but I'm pretty sure the newborn snuggles will take away the sting. ;)

This little guy had the total toddler package - and had everything I love about photographing toddlers! Everything is so new an exciting outside - birds, trees, grass - it's almost magical for them and I love the look of amazement and wonder! It's busy, but so much fun!

Tutu Cute! ;) ~See Shel's Photography~

I was a bit bummed when I realized I wouldn't be able to do my tutu mini-session special this year- pregnancy just sucked my energy and if I couldn't do it full on wonderful I knew I'd have to just wait until next year - then an opportunity came up to do just one little quick one - and I'm a sucker for a sweetie in a pink tutu so I couldn't resist!

Between the ages of 18 months and 3 years is one of THE hardest to photograph - especially in a studio session, but I actually REALLY enjoy this age a lot for many reasons - one being everything is so fresh and new to them - outside if we find a pinecone it is like treasure! In the studio bubbles can be miracle workers - I love it! They're still teeny -- just with big personalities. ;)

I met this princess just a few weeks before this - only this time I got to focus all my attention on her - and I had so much fun. It made me resolve to bring back the tutu session for next year. :)

Mini Man ~See Shel's Photography - Saskatoon Child Photographer~

I met this very handsome young man on his 1st birthday (and then a time or two in between then)- it's very hard to believe he's 3 now! It's been so very wonderful watching him change and grow. :)
He reminds me a lot of my own 3 year old son - quite reserved and shy when someone other than mom is talking to him, but you can see that little twinkle and spark in those eyes and you know there's a firecracker in there! :)

Holidays! ~See Shel's Photography

Finally time to start sharing from the holiday mini session! YAY!! The last time I saw this darling girl she wasn't quite as mobile - but it was so great to see her wonderful personality grow! Her family kicked off the holiday sessions on Hallowe'en morning, so it was actually kind of funny, no snow on the ground, jack-o-lanturns in the window and Christmas music pumping! :)
