Big Day ~See Shel's Photography - Saskatoon Wedding Photographer~

We are finally home! It was a long road trip with many stops - Estevan, Brandon, Esterhazy, Regina and Calgary.

The first stop in Estevan was to photograph the wedding of the amazing Callie and Justin:

The more I photograph weddings the more I'm really beginning to enjoy them. There are so many wonderful Saskatoon Wedding Photographers - I get asked several times a year if I photograph weddings - the short answer is "sort of" - I do 2 or 3 a year. The majority of my time is concentrated on family photography but once in awhile it is kind of nice to work with just adults for the day. I love the excitement of it all, seeing the preparation happen, the kissy kissy moments and the fun of the bridal parties!

I'll blog more about this wedding in the future - this morning I'm catching up on the 42 emails waiting my answer. I'll also be announcing the Holiday Mini-Sessions in the next couple of days - sign up will be first come, first served.

I am off this week-end to photograph the wedding of these two love birds down in Estevan. The weather's looking super hot so it should be a lot of fun - as long as we don't melt!

The day of their engagement shoot last fall was a VERY hot day - the days leading up were very chilly so these troopers chose fallish outfits and kept up the smiles even in the extreme heat!

I'm looking forward to all the fun Callie & Justin!

A huge congratulations to Kelly & Clint who got married on a rainy day in May - the rain turned out to be a bit of a blessing though, as we moved the photos indoor......into the lobby of the exact building they met in! Very exciting and a lot of fun - they rain did not put a damper on anyone's spirits!

I'm in the process of double and triple checking wedding photos and packaging them up for this wonderful couple - and I keep coming up with more and more I want to share. ;) This is hands down one of my favorite - but there are so many from that day! (but I don't do weddings. - or rather I don't do more than 2 a year - they're a great mix from chasing toddlers, but a LONG process!)

I always said "I'll never do weddings!" - I suppose those would be my famous last words. ;) I photographed my second wedding on August 1 and have another coming up in September - and 2 more booked next year - so there goes that mantra!

We're back from our vacation - I'm still "off" until tomorrow - though I've already been answering the numerous emails and phone calls, so I suppose I'm not fully gone anymore. ;)

I hope summer is treating everyone well - Christmas session announcements will be coming soon! (just finishing up the details)
