2016 Holiday Mini Sessions Are Here!

I have had the most wonderful time over the past few years (quite a few years now I guess! I've seen a lot of babies grow up! Yikes!) holding family holiday mini-sessions --- it's the best way to wrap up my year!

Holiday mini-sessions are held in my studio, this year will again hold a choice of a white backdrop or grey backdrop, with Christmas props (sleigh, presents, etc.) They are quick and fun, lasting 20 minutes and resulting in 8-10 colour photos with holiday card results in mind. We aim for a family photo, kids together and separate.

We've had a tonne of fun over the past few years and I can't wait to do it again! This is the only time during the year I offer mini-sessions for the whole family, so they do book up very quickly! After these dates are fully booked I will start a cancellation list for those interested.

In studio holiday mini-sessions are $200 +pst and include:

      * session fee for immediate family members

      * online password protected album

      * high resolution files of final edited photos on a USB for your printing and archiving needs

      * 4x6 print set of the final photos

      * 25 double sided 5x7 or 5x7 customized holiday cards with envelopes!

To book in your time please email shelen@seeshels.com with your first and second date and time choice, children's ages and a phone number I can reach you at in case of emergency --- I will email back confirming it asap!  A $50 non-refundable retainer is required within one week in order to hold your session time - this retainer is then placed against the final total at the session. All spaces are filled on a first come, first serve basis.

Beach Babies ~ Limited Edition Mini Session ~ {See Shel's Photography}

See Shel's Photography is very excited to present the limited edition Beach Babies mini-sessions!

This quick and fun session is geared for those cute little swimmers aged 6 months up to 3 years old!  What better way to capture this fun little moment in their lives, in a cute little swimsuit or sun outfit!

These sessions are 20 minutes in length, include 8-10 unique color photos in both high resolution files AND a 4x6 print of each, for only $100 +pst!

These sessions are being held on Sunday, May 29 and Saturday July 9 -- limited space is available!

This limited edition set will feature sweet, colour fun for the kids - sure to make everyone smile!

Details:

$150 +pst for one child (+$35 for each additional child in immediate family) and includes:

* 20 minute session in the candy shoppe

* 8 colour photos

* a 4x6 print of each photo

* full resolution file of each photo

* private password protected online album

* special candy package for each child participant

And for an extra special treat? Book and secure your session with a $50 retainer  before May 10 and receive a $25 print and product credit good toward any print or product from my a la carte list from this session--- great for family gifts, or perhaps a wonderful storyboard to show off your cutie's sweet session!

Oh toddlers! :)  They're so predictably unpredictable --- we had a cute fluffy pettiskirt ready to go, and a toddler who very much let us know that it would have no place in our photos! UNTIL we brought out the flower pedals, then it was game on!  She's grown a bit over the past couple of years - she's certainly the strong, silent type who seems to have many thoughts going on behind that quiet smile!! :)

The Dapper Dude sessions were a lot of fun last year - they are perfectly aimed for the squirmy little guys in our family - quick, fast paced, high energy - a great time to show off his wonderful little personality!

We had a pretty pink blast with our Tutu Fun sessions over the years and I am sure this year will be no different! Pink and fluffy - full of twirly, girly fun!

"big" brother came into my studio a few months ago - and he's walking now! But this time we had 2 little guys which makes the session a bit more fun ;)  And just sometimes you get a bit of luck where 2 little ones will be in the same place at the same time..... and with even more luck they will look at the same time ---- shooting star triple luck and they'll actually look happy at the same time ;) And then - sometimes the entire universe smiles upon us and we get a snuggle :)

Whew!!

The first round of Holiday mini-sessions are over -- and I had a BLAST! I look forward to them every year, it's like a big reunion in many ways as I have so many families who do return year after year -- many of them I have taken their maternity and newborn photos and now their "babies" are in kindergarten! It's so neat to see everyone grow and change and finally - finally - with many we have reached that "golden" moment -- where everyone's old enough to listen but not old enough to be grumpy about my corny jokes ;)

Thank you to everyone who came out - I loved seeing you all and am so grateful you've let me into your lives! I am really looking forward to round 2 after the long week-end --- so many more ho ho ho's to go go go!

Hat! ~See Shel's Photography - saskatoon photographer~

The biggest hurdle in my monkey sessions was the hat --- but I had a plan of attack ;)  Get the hat on and DISTRACT! Which was good.... until we added a tutu -- good news was most monkeys forgot about the hat once the tutu was on, but then --- the tutu was a whole other issue ;)  Good news about the tutu was it stopped any would be crawlers in their track as they couldn't quite figure out their new situation -- then add a quick distraction and voila! A hatted, tutued, super cute monkey!

This little gal was a hoot! She was one of the only ones to successfully remove her hat towards the end :)
